Desert Fruit Namibia recently donated home-grown vegetables to six different institutions, including primary and secondary schools and a retirement centre. This forms part of the company’s corporate social investment drive. The recipients were Bet-Ell, Karasburg Combined and Karasburg Primary Schools, Ernst Jager Junior Secondary School, Ariamsvlei Primary School and the Kenmekaar Retirement Centre.
The Pack Store itself is just over 9 000m2, with 6 500m3 of freezing space and 2 700m3 of cold rooms. The second phase of the pack store which will bring the Freezer space to just over 12 500 m3 and Cold Room space to just over 5 400m3 .
